Paramore reschedules L.A. concert due to COVID-19 but sets spooky makeup date
The concert scheduled for April 20 at the Fox Theater in downtown L.A. was recently postponed by Paradigm to another date and place.
The cancellation of the concert was due to health concerns related to the novel coronavirus.
Paradigm has rescheduled the concert to May 14 at the Fox.
The makeup date for the concert has yet to be determined.
Paradigm has offered refunds to Ticketmaster customers who purchased tickets on or before April 20.
Paradigm also announced it was postponing the concert in New York and other scheduled shows, scheduled for June 9 and 13, to July 27 in Kansas City, Mo. and July 30 in Milwaukee.
“We have been and will continue to be vigilant and responsive to the health and safety of our audiences and staff at all of our ongoing shows,” Paradigm said in a statement. “Throughout the course of the coronavirus outbreak, we have worked diligently to provide our audiences with the safest possible venues and to prevent the spread of the virus.”

The Fox Theater is set to host a concert to benefit the Los Angeles Food Depository next Saturday, May 4, as part of The First Aid Box’s “Together We Can” fundraiser.
The First Aid Box is a nationwide fundraiser for the charity, which builds and distributes boxes of food to local food pantries.
“It’s an exciting opportunity for First Aid Box to partner with the Fox Theater in a special way, and a way to support the Fox on the eve of their 50th Anniversary,” Fox Entertainment Vice President of Communications Steve Honan said in a statement earlier this month.
“We are thrilled to help Second City and Los Angeles Food Depository distribute boxes of food to people in need,” Fox Theater co-founder and Managing Partner Bill Chait said in the statement. “This is a great example of how our mission to support people in need remains strong and relevant with our new audience.”
